Introduces major traditions of rhetorical inquiry, with a particular emphasis on their relevance to composition studies. Study of the works of various rhetoricians from the Classical period to Modern times. Prerequisites: “C” or better in ENGL 110 and ENGL 111 , or permission of the instructor.
