Catalog description

The study of film adaptations of significant literary works. Students will read selected literary works and analyze the social, historical, and cultural implications of both the literary works and their film interpretations. A series of screenings throughout the course will help students to evaluated, analyzed, and appreciate pieces of literature and their related film adaptations as independent yet equally important creative texts. Prerequisite: ENGL 260 .
