Catalog description
An exploration of the interface of Language and the law. Aims at using the scientific analysis of language to advance the cause of justice in the application of the law. Exposes students to the process of applying linguistic theory to the analysis of language data in legal settings. Prerequisites: ENGL 110 Composition I; ENGL 111 Composition II, or their equivalents.
