Catalog description

For Business Majors only. Introduction to the use of statistical methods as a scientific tool in the analysis of problems in business and economics. Coverage will include probability, probability distributions, measures of central tendency and dispersions, sampling distributions, and estimation. Methods include hypothesis testing, regression and correlation, ANOVA and Chi square tests. Prerequisites: COBU 155 and MATH 120 or its equivalent.
