Catalog description

Students will understand the relationship between forensic science and the courts. Examination of this relationship focuses on the influence of scientific proofs based on group data and courtroom testimonies in the application of forensic evidence in courts and the exonerations of persons wrongfully convicted of crimes. Other areas include the philosophy of science, the scientific method, the rules of evidence, and the conduct of trials. Prerequisite(s): CJUS 215 .
