Catalog description

In practice, the course will illustrate in a clear and useful way, the application and adaptation of general quantitative methods in the approach to specific biological problems and in the treatment of biological data. Concurrent enrollment in the laboratory is required. Prerequisites: BIOL 205 Integrative Organismal Biology and BIOL 320 Principles of Genetics. Co-requisite: BIOL 416 Quantitative Biology laboratory Lab A laboratory course required to be taken in conjunction with BIOL 416 Quantitative Biology lecture course. This course will involve exercises related to selected lecture topics. Co-requisite: BIOL 416 Quantitative Biology lecture.
