Presents the latest developments and advances in the field of biology and prepares students for the major course sequence in the biology/pre-med and endorsement curriculums. Emphasis will be placed on chemistry, cell biology, cell division, genetics, and biotechnology. This course is a pre-requisite for all other Biology courses. Co-requisite: BIOL 120 Principles of Biology I Laboratory Lab: A laboratory course required to be taken in conjunction with BIOL 120 Principles of Biology I lecture course. This course will involve hands on laboratory exercises related to selected lecture topics. Co-requisite: BIOL 120 Principles of Biology I Lecture.
