Catalog description

Students will develop an insight into the history and philosophy of a program of agricultural education program in secondary schools. Special emphasis will be given to planning, conducting and managing a department. A practicum will be used to observe teachers in as they perform management tasks involved in operating a successful educational program for youth and adults. Prerequisites: Academic advisor’s approval; junior or above standing.
