Catalog description
The course will introduce students to the fundamental concepts and applications of remote sensing in the areas of agriculture, biological, computer, political, and social sciences, and engineering. To complement classroom instruction, there will be extensive hands-on exercises based on computer software dedicated to remote sensing and integrating it in GIS. Field trips will be organized to visit governmental agencies or institutions where remote sensing is being done. Prerequisites: AGRI 280 .
