Catalog description
A survey of the history and geography of California. The course will cover all aspects of the development of what is today known as California, including those contributions made by Native Americans, Spanish, Mexican, and early Anglo inhabitants. Special emphasis will be laid upon critical issues of the present. This course satisfies in part the California history requirement for teachers in the primary grades. 48-54 hours lecture. CSU,UC
