Esthetician Academy

Catalog description

The Esthetician Academy is the second course in a two-part esthetician program. The Esthetician Academy is a rigorous course designed to provide students with a comprehensive introduction to esthetician principles and practices. These methods will prepare students for careers in skin care using the standards outlined by the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology. Topics include health and safety, disinfection, facials, eyelash extensions, eyebrow tinting, airbrushing, waxing, microdermabrasion, wraps, and chemical treatments. This course will fulfill the 600 hours of training required in the state-mandated esthetician training program.
