This course introduces the role of forensics in the criminal justice system. The course includes: crime scene processes and analysis; interpretation of patterns for reconstruction; physical pattern evidence; fingerprint identification and patterns; questioned document examination; toolmarks and firearms examinations; biological evidence and DNA; arson and explosives evidence, and drug analysis.
