Catalog description

This course examines the role of psychology in enhancing well-being and productivity of working individuals and performance of organizations that employ them. Issues concerning both individual and group functioning are discussed: employee selection, matching jobs and individuals, training, performance evaluation, productive and counterproductive behavior in organizations, stress, leadership and organizational development. Furthermore, all of these issues are considered in the context of multilevel cultural influences, from organizational cultures to demands due to globalization.
