Maternity and Women's Health Practicum

Catalog description

This practicum course provides experiences in the care and management of women's health and illness across the lifespan. Focus in on family-centered care, teamwork and collaboration, patient safety, and quality improvement in caring for women and their newborns. Practicum experiences (90 hours) will be spent in simulated, community-based, and acute care environments. Students must take NRS-375 concurrently.
