Catalog description
Anatomy and Physiology II focuses on the structure and function of the digestive, renal, endocrine, and immune systems. This course emphasizes metabolism, nutrient absorption, water and ion balance, hormonal regulation, immune function, and highlighting the integration of these systems in maintaining homeostasis and responding to physiological challenges. Students will develop critical thinking skills, explore ethical considerations, and reflect on Christian perspectives in the study of human anatomy and physiology. Lecture three hours. This course is designed for Kinesiology majors pursuing any concentration other than pre-health or for any student who would like to learn about the structure and function of the human body.
