This course introduces students to key genres, authors, or significant themes important in the study of specific ethnic or world literatures. Through critical reading, discussion, writing, and analysis, students develop tools for interpreting literature and understanding its historical and social contexts. Assessments include classroom discussions, papers, quizzes, and exams.
