This course provides an in-depth investigation of current problems and issues that affect education in America. Students focus on current trends in curriculum, instructional pedagogy, and school organization. To this end, students develop a literature review relevant to current educational issues to inform the effectiveness of teaching and learning, and the quality of life in the school community. This is the first course in the MA Core sequence. MA Core requirement. Consent of Director.
