Advanced Administrative Fieldwork Practicum

Catalog description

This course will provide administrative candidates with the advanced knowledge and skills to lead effectively lead in today's schools as an educator. During the advanced practicum, candidates will continue to build upon the administrative practice knowledge from the initial fieldwork practicum which is also based on the California Administrator Performance Expectations (CAPEs). This course will continue to provide hands-on administrative experiences at the school site and district levels as well as with diverse student populations with support from their Site Mentor and University Professor. Candidates will complete the additional 40 hours during EDUG 620 for a total of 80 hours total between EDUG 620 and EDUG 621. This course will further prepare candidates to take the CalAPA exam.
