Administrative Fieldwork Practicum

Catalog description

This course will provide administrative candidates with the knowledge and skills to lead effectively in today's schools as an educator. During the practicum, candidates will critically examine administrative practices based on the California Administrator Performance Expectations (CAPEs). This course will equip students for administrative roles in education through hands-on experiences at the school site and district levels as well as with diverse student populations with support from their Site Mentor and University Professor. Candidates will complete a minimum of 40 hours during EDUG 620. An additional 40 hours will be required during EDUG 621, which is the Advanced Administrative Fieldwork Practicum.
