Catalog description

This course will explore the importance of family and community engagement, communication, and promotion of the school. It will cover effective strategies for building and maintaining strong partnerships with families, community members, and external partnerships, and how these partnerships can enhance student success. Students will also gain a deeper understanding of the rationale behind policies, improving internal and external communication, as well as representing the school's mission and values. The course will cover topics such as clear communication, cultural competency, and advocacy. It will also emphasize the role of collaboration and shared responsibility in fostering a supportive learning environment.
