Advanced Clinical Practice Dual Credential Education Specialist Mmsn

Catalog description

This is the culminating field experience for preliminary multiple subject or single subject credential holders seeking to add on the Education Specialist mild/moderate support needs (MMSN) credential. Candidates teach and co-teach learners with disabilities in a University assigned classroom for 8 weeks with a cooperating teacher, 5 days per week for approximately 7 hours/day. Candidates experience the daily responsibilities of running a culturally and linguistically diverse classroom. Candidates practice under the expert monitoring of a Cooperating Teacher with mentoring from a University Supervisor. Biblical themes explored: blessing, introspection, kingdom, redemption, purpose.
