Catalog description

This course provides a comprehensive overview of the field of early childhood education. It includes California State-adopted student content standards and frameworks for early childhood education (grades PK-3), developmentally appropriate theories and approaches, and subject specific-pedagogical strategies, with a focus on literacy and mathematics. Additionally, it explores diverse instructional strategies for English Language Development, tailored to multilingual and English learner students.
