This foundational course in Business Statistics emphasizes the application of statistical methods for data-driven decision-making across various business functions, including marketing, finance, entertainment, sports, and operations. Students will explore key concepts in data handling (descriptive measures, data mining, and data cleaning), probability theory (discrete and normal distributions), inferential statistics (sampling and hypothesis testing), and predictive modeling (regression analysis to analyze complex business relationships and make informed decisions). These concepts are reinforced through practical case studies and hands-on experience with tools like Excel and PowerPoint.
