Basic Coding - Diagnostic provides the student with the fundamental concepts and principles that are required to become proficient as an entry-level medical biller/coder. Therefore, this course will introduce the student to ICD -10 concepts such as coding c onventions, guidelines, hospital inpatient coding, and physician office coding. In addition, the student will have an opportunity to appl y these principles and concepts through a series of real-life medical coding lessons and activities.
