Course: Non-technical – General Education for Degree Program Introduction to Economics provides students with a fundamental introduction to economics. This course introduces essential concepts and principles with specific focus on how these concepts and principles relate to small businesses in the United States. Spe cific topics that are presented in this class include: Supply, Demand, Competition, Inflation, Interest Rates, Opportunity Costs, and Cons umer Spending. The course will culminate with a study on the current economic climate of the US and several suggested initiatives to help sustain small business in the US.
