Catalog description

This course equips students with the knowledge and skills to implement intrusion detection and prevention systems. Students w ill learn about fundamental concepts, system security, and the development of security policies. They will also explore network a ddress translation (NAT), packet filtering, proxy servers, firewalls, VPNs, cryptography, perimeter defense, and security countermeasures. Prerequisite: CSY205
