Catalog description

Money and Banking will review a series of concepts and principles that relate to the U.S. Monetary System along with the policies that govern the U.S. Monetary system. The course will provide a study on alternative values of money along with a functional a nalysis of the Federal Reserve System, the Treasury, and the U.S. banking industry. An in -depth analysis of credit, interest rates, the money supply, and the impact of international economics from the perspective of individual consumers, small businesses, and larger organizations will be discussed.
