Catalog description

The second level of applied study, open to music majors and minors, includes a weekly hour of private instruction. The average student will complete at least two semesters of 200-level music lessons before attempting the sophomore proficiency exam and passing to the next level. Applied lessons may not be audited. Typically Offered: Fall, Spring. Prerequisite : Two semesters of MUS 153 . Repeatable: Up to 8 Credits.
