1 credit music lessons (a weekly half hour of private instruction) are open to all students, regardless of program of study; and to music majors and minors depending upon the requirements of their program. 2 credit music lessons (a weekly hour of private instruction) are open only to music majors and minors. Music majors and minors will complete at least two semesters of 100-level applied music before passing to the next level. Applied lessons may not be audited. Students with little or no previous vocal training will enroll in MUS 152 Voice Class. Vocal secondaries may substitute MUS 152 for one semester of MUS 153 . Typically Offered: Fall, Spring. Repeatable: Up to 8 Credits.
