An introduction to rigorous theory of calculus. Topics covered include the real number system, sequences, limits, continuous functions in R, continuous functions of several variables, metric spaces uniform convergence, interchange of limit operations, infinite series, mean value theorems and their applications, and Riemann integrals. Typically Offered: Fall. Prerequisite : MATH 265 .
