An investigation of the methods of prevention and care used for injuries received in athletic activities. The course includes injury characteristics and common upper and lower extremity injuries. In addition to athletic taping techniques and instruction in universal precautions related to infectious diseases, this course also covers environmental factors that can affect athletes.
