HIST 610 is a study of the resources and techniques that effective teachers employ in the secondary social studies classroom. Major topics include sourcing and corroboration heuristics, conducting research and constructing knowledge, curricular organization and planning, methods for engaging students in the social studies classroom, and a brief review of historiography. Typically Offered: Summer, odd years.
