Catalog description

A lecture and laboratory course which provides an introduction to the earth through time. Topics include the origin and history of the planet and the history and evolution of animal and plant life. The laboratory work involves studying fossils and interpreting geologic maps and stratigraphic columns. Cross-referenced with GEOG 106 . Typically Offered: Spring, even years. Prerequisite : GEOL 100 / GEOG 100 . Same As: GEOG 106 / GEOL 106 .
