A lecture and laboratory course which provides an introduction to the earth through time. Topics include the origin and history of the planet and the history and evolution of animal and plant life. The laboratory work involves studying fossils and interpreting geologic maps and stratigraphic columns. Cross-referenced with GEOL 106 . Typically Offered: Spring.
