Catalog description

The course examines the teaching profession, including the historical, philosophical, and social foundations of education. Students gain knowledge of the VCSU teacher education model and apply knowledge and skills through practice teaching activities, including the effective use of planning, implementing, evaluating, and reflecting. The course requires a field experience in secondary classroom. Typically Offered: Summer.
