A course designed to prepare prospective elementary teachers for effective teaching of science in elementary schools. Methods and materials are introduced and opportunities for practice and evaluation are available. Topics include critical thinking and questioning techniques, designing effective lesson plans and units. Typically Offered: Fall, Spring. Prerequisite : Admitted to Teacher Education.
