Catalog description

An opportunity for pre-service teachers to gain experience in a secondary classroom in preparation of student teaching. The student works closely with an secondary classroom teacher to develop a greater understanding of effective teaching and classroom management. Students are encouraged to take the practicum the same semester as their secondary methods course. Typically Offered: Fall, Spring. Prerequisite : Admitted to Teacher Education Corequisite: EDUC 480 . Grading: S/U only.
