Catalog description

A study of mathematical concepts, systems of numbers, ways of presenting these concepts, and understanding how arithmetical concepts are developed, expanded, and reinforced. Special emphasis will be on the impact of technology, problem solving, and mathematical reasoning. Students will plan, implement, and evaluate lessons. Typically Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer. Prerequisites : Admitted to Teacher Education, EDUC 277 , and EDUC 278 .
