A course designed to acquaint students with, and to help them understand, financial markets, institutions, and the Federal Reserve System. The course enables students to analyze and evaluate regulation of the financial system as well as monetary policy. Current issues in domestic and international financial systems are emphasized. Typically Offered: Fall, even years. Prerequisites : ECON 201 and ECON 202 .
