Catalog description

This course provides students with the skills necessary to manage a park for the purpose of balancing conservation and resource management with public recreation and education. Topics covered include park operations and management, communications and public relations, and nature interpretation through experiential learning. Labs feature field trips including park visits, hands-on projects and demonstrations by professionals from the region. Typically Offered: Fall.
