Catalog description

Students are introduced to the principles and practices of motion graphics and animation in 2D environments. The course covers animation techniques for integrating typography, imagery, video, and audio using industry-standard software and workflows. Emphasis is placed on designing, animating, and editing graphics for digital media, advertising, film, and interactive platforms. Students develop both technical and creative problem-solving skills while examining the use of digital imaging as a form of artistic expression. Contemporary issues in digital imaging are also discussed. Typically Offered: Fall, even years. Prerequisite : ART 225 .
