BIOL 171 emphasizes the use of inquiry-based science methods to answer open-ended biological questions that have environmental connections. This course is required of Elementary Education majors and satisfies the University of Wisconsin Superior General Education Natural Science requirement and the environmental science requirements for the Wisconsin Teaching Licensure. Three hours Lecture, two hours Lab.
