Prerequisite(s): Acceptance into Master of Science in Applied AI program or approval of graduate program director. Examines ethical considerations, legal frameworks, and social impacts related to artificial intelligence (AI). Addresses privacy, bias, regulation, and job displacement. Covers moral philosophy of AI, national and international AI policies, workforce changes from intelligent systems, and techniques to identify and mitigate algorithmic bias.
