Prerequisite(s): Acceptance into the Master of Science in Engineering and Technology Management or other UVU graduate programs Focuses on the legal protection and monetization of ideas, creations, and inventions. Covers the various forms of intellectual property, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. Explores the laws and regulations governing these intellectual property forms, including international treaties and agreements. Examines the process of obtaining, licensing, and enforcing intellectual property rights and the ethical and social implications of these rights.
