Prerequisite(s): One of the following: MAT 1010 or MAT 1015 with a grade of C or better within the past two years; an ACT mathematics score of 23 (assuming the test has been taken within the last two years); appropriate placement by the Accuplacer test score A quantitative literacy course with a statistical theme. Includes descriptive statistics, sampling, and inferential methods. Emphasizes problem solving and critical thinking.
