Prerequisite(s): ( SPAN 3050 or departmental approval) and University Advanced Standing Offers Medical Spanish, Legal Spanish, or Spanish for Tourism according to student demand. Focuses on the practical needs of students who seek careers in the applicable areas. Addresses the specialized vocabulary and communicative ability necessary for a professional in a bilingual English-Spanish or monolingual Spanish environment. Introduces interpretation in professional situations. May be repeated for a maximum of 6 credits toward graduation with different topics.
