Prerequisite(s): ( SPAN 3030 and SPAN 3040 ) or SPAN 3050 , and University Advanced Standing Teaches language structures and terminology specific to Spanish language in the field of healthcare. Examines the cultural issues present in the interactions with Spanish-speaking patients. Prepare students to work with Spanish-speaking patients in future careers in medicine, nursing, or translation/interpretation.
