Catalog description

Prerequisite(s): SPAN 2010 or SPAN 2020G or SPAN 3030 or SPAN 3040 or SPAN 3050 or Department Approval Teaches Spanish-language terminology specific to the field of nursing. Examines the cultural issues present in the interactions with Spanish-speaking patients. Prepares students to work with Spanish-speaking patients in future careers in nursing. Reviews and builds upon grammar, reading, writing, and conversation skills learned in previous courses.
