Catalog description

Prerequisite(s): A score of 3 or higher on the Portuguese NEWL test, with test taken in grade 9, 10, or 11 and department approval. This course is part of the State of Utah Portuguese Bridge Program and it will be taught only in high schools and for high school students. Not to be taught on college campus for university students. Explores the themes of travel, navigation, and cross-cultural encounters throughout today’s Portuguese-speaking world, and how they impact our identity and transform us and our understanding of others. Taught in Portuguese.
