Catalog description

Prerequisite(s): Students need equivalent knowledge of PORT 1020 Reviews and builds on existing knowledge of grammar, reading, and conversation skills, whether acquired through previous coursework or by fluency in Spanish. Introduces readings and discussions on the history, culture, and literature of Brazil, maintaining a focus on oral proficiency. This course is the first PORT class that fluent Spanish speakers will take. Lab access fee of $12 applies.
